Below 600 degrees, a economizer tube bank is installed, and the flue gas contains corrosive gases such as phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. How should the surface of carbon steel pipes be treated to prevent corrosion? Would it work to use phosphating treatment on the metal surface? I would be very grateful if any fellow sea traveler could offer some suggestions!

Those components of yours are gases, right? They should be a mixture of phosphorus pentoxide, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride, and sulfur trioxide. Nickel-based alloys such as Alloy 625 and Alloy 59, as well as Hastelloy X and Hastelloy F, can be used

For boiler flue gas and blast furnace flue gas, there are systems for controlling the flue gas temperature, which is essentially about controlling the dew point; a higher flue gas temperature can also be achieved by using ND steel, a material that seems to be 09CrCuSb. This material is described in the appendix of GB150 – the old version; I haven’t seen the new version yet. Epoxy coating is another option as well. I hope this helps you.
