API 2000 takes into account the conditions of hot inhalation and hot exhalation when calculating the inhalation and exhalation volumes of breather valves. This is the compression or expansion of gases caused by changes in weather. So, may I ask everyone, for storage tanks that provide insulation or cold retention, is it still necessary to take these factors into consideration? If we were to consider it, what would be the reason?

Insulation also needs to be taken into consideration; the amount required will be smaller if appropriate. There are calculation formulas available in API2000 for reference, and it should be remembered that latitude also plays a role in this.
It definitely needs to be taken into consideration; the functions of insulation or heat retention are relative, not absolute； Vent valves are absolutely essential for safety reasons.
