We are building a 4-ton boiler that burns gasified gas. After the fuel is gasified, it goes straight into the boiler for combustion; as a result, there is a lot of dust in the gas, around 10 grams per cubic meter. I would like to ask experts in this field whether the smoke pipes might get clogged after combustion If it gets blocked, what are some good solutions? The smoke pipe should avoid having bends or flow-distorting elements; it’s best to use a straight pipe. The flow rate can be increased slightly, and it is recommended to replace it with a water pipe. Just a suggestion!
The dust produced after combustion in gas boilers should not be ordinary dust; it is rather a very light powder similar to carbon black. It is difficult to remove through mechanical or gravitational separation methods, so it is recommended to use pressurized gas for regular cleaning!
This level of ash depends on the adhesiveness of the ash; if it doesn’t stick, there should be no problem. However, if its adhesiveness is high, it can easily cause blockages and reduce the boiler’s heat transfer efficiency.
