Are hydrogen production and hydrogenation two separate workshops? Why are the flange standards different? A batch of equipment is now being processed for the hydrogen production workshop. The flange standard for hydrogenation is HG20615, while that for hydrogen production is SH3406. What’s going on here? . .
It’s quite normal; usually, there should be two workshops! ! But there are also differences. In our case, it’s one workshop with all the devices connected together; the advantage is that communication between them is very smooth and adjustments can be made at any time. However, when an accident occurs in that workshop, both sets of devices have to be taken into consideration, which makes things more complicated
It mainly depends on whether the two sets of equipment were designed by the same party; if the valve standards differ, it’s likely they weren’t designed by the same person

There are two standards: one is the chemical industry standard, and the other is the petrochemical industry standard. It is likely related to the design institute; if it is a design institute under the former Ministry of Chemical Industry, chemical industry standards are followed ； If it is a petrochemical design institute, petrochemical standards are applied.
