The sludge pool pump in our factory has a centrifugal flow rate of 125 cubic meters per hour, a head of 51 meters, a power rating of 45 kilowatts, and a rotation speed of 148 revolutions per minute; it is a variable-frequency speed control pump.
The pump was designed for clean water, but in reality there is a large amount of slag. An effective solution is to reduce the amount of slag that is carried in with the overflow flow. Previously, we had to open the clean water tank behind the slag removal mechanism every two weeks to clean it out, which was time-consuming and labor-intensive. Later, we raised the position of the overflow pipe and extended the time during which the overflow valve remains open; as a result, things improved significantly – it is now sufficient to clean it once per cycle when the machine stops operating
