For the safety valves of the pipelines in the combustible gas system and those of the storage tanks, which are used for centralized venting, is it necessary to conduct non-destructive testing on the venting main? If the outlet pipeline of the safety valve on a pipe or tank leads to direct venting, then no consideration is needed. But when these outlet pipelines are gathered together and connected to the flare for combustion, inspections must be carried out. When the safety valve opens, it exerts a strong pressure shock on the outlet pipeline; the situation becomes even more severe when the pressure inside the pipeline or tank is very high. As for the inspection interval, it depends on whether the process operates with frequent fluctuations, as well as **regulations**. Three-year/five-year inspections of pipelines or containers are essential; you certainly don’t want these pipelines to leak one day.
