Let’s clarify: what are “floor slabs” and “steel platforms”? It would be best to attach a picture to take a look – is the floor slab made of concrete or steel?
Floor slabs are generally concrete slabs, while steel platforms are those constructed using shaped steel members.
Put it this way: for a framework or floor built with reinforced concrete, the floor surface of each floor is called a floor slab; in the case of a steel framework structure, it’s called a steel platform
