In the major domestic oil companies, where are the gas-removal filters typically used in the storage areas? Relatively speaking, how effective is it? Compared to the several major refineries in the country, which of those refineries do people see more often? Sharing my own opinion, I suggest developing similar products and promoting their use, especially in pipelines or oil depots, refineries, chemical plants, and so on. Of course, this may not be correct; it’s just my personal view.
To improve the accuracy of fuel dispensing, oil depots generally install degassing filters in front of the flow meters, and this proves to be effective.
Gas removal filters have been used in the oil depots of Sinopec and CNPC; however, in current chemical industry projects, almost no such filters are used. I also want to learn more about the application scope and effectiveness of gas removal filters
A degassing filter is generally installed in front of the flow meter, in order to prevent a mixture of oil and gas during loading from causing errors in the flow meter readings. This error occurs because gas and liquid are loaded simultaneously, and the amount loaded does not reach the actual capacity. As far as I know, there are several organizations using such systems, including the Dagang Oilfield and CNOOC Huizhou Branch
Our Novel company also offers such technical products. This noise-suppressing filter, also known as a noise-suppressing separation flow stabilizer, enables efficient separation of gas and liquid, reduces noise, and stabilizes the fluid flow pattern; it is an essential component for the metering devices used before loading oil and gas into storage tanks. Accurate measurement, high loading efficiency, low noise – it’s excellent!
