May I ask, what model should be used for simulating a converter using Aspen? I want to simulate mass conservation and capacity conservation separately. How do I do that? ? Thank you!
It is more appropriate to use a balanced reactor. A converter generally reaches thermodynamic equilibrium inside.
There shouldn’t be any problems with things like SRK.
I’d like to ask: if there is inter-stage heat exchange equipment in a shift converter, how should the flow diagram be drawn?
I’ve seen some papers on RStoic for transformed simulation selection, but I’ve been using REquil. I wonder if there is a distinction between right and wrong? Will it still achieve the desired effect? But which of the achieved effects is closer to the actual reaction?
