What is the sequence for pressure testing, airtightness testing, and purging?

The sequence is: pressurization, purging, airtightness testing
It should be pressure testing, airtightness testing, and purging.
According to the regulations for the construction and acceptance of industrial metal piping projects, the pipes are first subjected to pressure testing and purging, and finally to a leak test
Here we conduct can opening inspections, pipeline purging, water pressure testing, and airtightness checks
In accordance with the requirements of SH3501, the device should first be subjected to pressure tests for strength and tightness; after those tests are completed, purging should be carried out, and then a leakage test.
Generally, pressure testing is carried out first to determine the pressure resistance of the pipes or equipment. Once their strength is confirmed to be satisfactory, the pipes or equipment are purged to remove debris such as rust and weld slag. Finally, pressurization and holding of pressure are performed to conduct a leak test; only after passing this test can they be put into use.
Most pipes are tested, purged, and leak-tested; However, for heat transfer oil pipelines, they need to be purged first to ensure oil pressure and airtightness.
I think these three terms can be divided into two parts. The airtightness test is carried out after the equipment has been manufactured and inspected; it is part of the equipment manufacturing process. Once the equipment is connected in the factory, purging should be done first to remove any debris, and only after the flow paths are clear should pressure testing be conducted. Pressure testing is usually done using steam, and sometimes air as well. This is the situation at our factory; we welcome any feedback
