Using heavy oil as the raw material, oxygen is employed for incomplete oxidation to generate heat, which drives a cracking reaction of the heavy oil to produce methane and carbon. Subsequently, water vapor and the cracking products undergo transformation reactions to yield hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The process conditions are analyzed primarily in terms of temperature, pressure, oxygen-to-oil ratio, and steam-to-oil ratio
