What is the replacement cycle for the activated carbon in the desulfurization tank of the urea system? Should it be replaced simply by analyzing the H2S content in CO2?
The replacement cycle for activated carbon is approximately half a year. Of course, it has a lot to do with the level of H2S content in the imported material.
The replacement cycle for activated carbon in the desulfurization tank of the urea system depends first on the type of activated carbon used, and second on the hydrogen sulfide content in the CO2 gas. The basis for replacing the activated carbon is the hydrogen sulfide content at the outlet of the activated carbon desulfurization tank.
The unit using carbon dioxide and urea here has been in operation for almost 9 months now, and the activated carbon has not been replaced yet. The levels of H2S detected are low; is it necessary to replace it?
