It depends on the type of company; I’m willing to believe that such an annual salary of 100,000 can be earned in foreign companies. In state-owned enterprises, it’s still quite good to receive that amount after just 5 years of working as a pipe fitter

5 years of experience in piping work isn’t enough to reach the highest level! Those who have reached the top level hardly still sit down to draw PDS diagrams; they can become design managers instead! Many of my colleagues at Bechtel earn a monthly salary of 8,000 to 9,000 (pre-tax), plus overtime pay, so their total monthly income is around 10,000. In state-owned enterprises, such a salary of 4,000 isn’t even possible! State-owned design firms rely on project bonuses for income; without projects, employees only get a fixed salary. Yes, foreign companies offer higher salaries, but it seems the work intensity is also high. It’s not as stressful in state-owned enterprises; they seem to focus more on developing employees, while foreign companies aim to train them. In short, each has its own advantages. But I feel that on-site experience in piping work is very important.
