Class A chemical plants are to be constructed on either side of 220KV high-voltage lines; what is the safe distance between these plants and the high-voltage lines? What is the basis or standard? I hope fellow travelers can give some advice; thank you!
It is specified in the building codes: according to GB50016, the horizontal distance between Class A factories and overhead power lines must be no less than 1.5 times the height of the utility poles (towers).
