How can we effectively prevent coke powder from being carried in by the acidic water from delayed coking in the feedwater? It’s too difficult to clean the feedwater tanks.
Where does the raw water come from? Why is there coke dust? Also, if it’s not water from coking, but only feedwater and acidic water (from oil stripping or distillation columns), how could it contain coke powder? There must be a problem with the water pipes in your device. Check where the coke powder is leaking, and seal the source of the leak.
It is acidic water from the coking unit. It contains a fair amount of coke powder inside.
Remove dust first, then wash out hydrogen sulfide and ammonia; I think there are definitely problems with the current process.
Where does wastewater containing coke dust come from? Could you describe the process?
Coking unit crude gasoline tanks, rich absorption oil tanks, etc.
Where is the washing device located? Could you draw a diagram to illustrate it?
Just add a filter to the pipeline and clean it regularly
There are filters available with backwashing functionality, but the management is unwilling to invest in this feature.
