As the title suggests, I would like to ask everyone how to simulate the unloading process of low-temperature media in HYSYS or PLUS Since the tank itself is a container, during HYSYS steady-state calculations, the Tank module is treated merely as a flash tank, and I find it to be rather cumbersome to work with. The condition of the materials being unloaded has a tremendous impact on the volume of vapor released from storage tanks (BOG). With a slight change in the ship’s parameters, the amount of BOG changes significantly. It also has a significant impact on the selection of BOG. How do people handle it when doing simulations?
