What are the criteria used for selecting and designing pipes in general? For example, when dealing with process gases at -15 degrees Celsius, it is necessary to consider what temperature lower than -15 degrees the pipe material must be able to withstand: handshake
It doesn’t specify by how much degrees lower it needs to be; it’s sufficient to use it at temperatures above the lower limit of the allowable operating temperature for that steel grade.
