Why is the price of large granular urea in the market higher than that of prilled urea pellets?

Large-grained urea has a longer duration of efficacy compared to small-grained urea, and its production process is different as mentioned above.
It is said that there are tower granulators and mechanical granulators – does that mean they produce different types of particles?
Large particles have a certain slow-release effect; since there is a process of forming larger particles again after evaporation, the cost increases, and that’s why it’s more expensive!
