The final temperature of heat exchange for coking feedstocks is significantly influenced by the feed temperature, the reflux from the distillation side streams, as well as the preheating and steam injection in the coke tower; it is difficult to achieve an average final heat exchange temperature of 300°C. Has this temperature been reached at any point? Discussion is welcome.

The temperature we designed to reach is 320°C. It should be fine normally.

The design temperature refers only to the theoretical maximum heat exchange temperature; in actual operation, it needs to be reduced significantly. How to increase the final temperature of heat exchange is a problem I have been focusing on; let’s talk in person when you have time.
It is designed to be the temperature after mixing with the circulating oil; I am referring to the final temperature after heat exchange between the residue and the fractionation side streams.
We’re in a bit of a tough spot~ The temperature at the heat exchange terminal is only 230~
The heat exchange terminal temperature is only 230; it’s the process used by the Beijing Research Institute. In the process where residue enters at the bottom of the distillation tower, the heat exchange terminal temperature is relatively lower.
Our value is only around 200, which results in extremely low temperatures; this issue has been plaguing us
Our design ensures that the temperature reaches 315 degrees Celsius after heat exchange, and 328 degrees Celsius after mixing with rerefined oil. Our factory uses six heat exchangers; perhaps your factory uses fewer heat exchangers
