We currently have a project that involves a number of containers as well as heat exchangers, both horizontal and vertical. We need to determine the exact positions of the supports and brackets (to establish the requirements for the structure). I’m not sure what specific regulations apply; I only know that for horizontal containers, the support distance should be A《0.25R». I’m not aware of any other rules, and there are no guidelines for vertical exchangers either – only load calculations are specified. I hope experienced colleagues can help us out

Help, I’m just starting to learn * and have little experience with it. I know that there are specific standards for both supports and lifting lugs. GB151 specifies the optimal placement for the supports of heat exchangers; I believe similar guidelines must exist in the standards for other types of containers as well. Check those standards to see if such information is available.
I’m not sure if it’s sufficient to just follow what’s mentioned for 151 and the container supports; is there anything else that needs to be taken into account?
The positions and requirements for the lugs on containers and heat exchangers are specified in HG/T 21574-2008 \"Technical Requirements for Lugs and Related Engineering in Chemical Equipment.\" The exact positions of the supports and lug bases can be determined in accordance with HG/T 205803-2011. The height of the lug bases must be determined based on process requirements; this topic has been discussed many times on this forum, so you can search for relevant information there.
The height of the ear mounts needs to be determined through engineering calculations. If we select the appropriate model of ear mount based on the height specified by them as well as the diameter of the equipment, we also need to calculate the load and bending moments exerted on those ear mounts to see whether they meet the required standards (is this approach correct?). Additionally, the inner diameter of the horizontal container is 550, and its total length is 2300; I will follow the requirements outlined in HG20583 for category A
