I would like to ask about the smoke flow velocity at the heat transfer surface

In the section of the waste heat boiler tube bank, is there an optimal value for the flue gas flow velocity between the tubes in order to balance tube wear and overall heat transfer efficiency? Is there still a range? What are the specific figures? In which book was it mentioned?
I suggest the original poster check whether there is any relevant information in the boiler design or calculation manuals. I took a brief look at the boiler calculation manual; it contains calculations related to the pressure drop across the heating surfaces, so I think relevant information should be available there. I’m very busy with work and don’t have time to check in detail; please understand.
Sigh. . I’m still reading the manual and such. I majored in chemical engineering, and I only recently started working with boilers; it’s a bit confusing for me at the moment. Calculations and such seem completely different from pressure vessels. But thank you, I’ll keep reading
