What is the required distance between overhead power lines and boilers?
What is the grade of the station to which your boiler belongs? The levels are different, so is the spacing. 1.5 times the pole height should be fine.
For levels 1 to 4, it shall be not less than 1.5 times the pole height, and not less than 30 m; The height of a level 5 station shall be not less than 1.5 times the pole height.
I work for a petrochemical company, and I’ve found that the Regulations on the Protection of Electric Power Facilities contain some relevant provisions.
I don’t know whether it is a gas station or a boiler room in a chemical plant. I will refer to Article 10 of the Regulations on the Protection of Electrical Facilities: Electric line protection zones: (1) For overhead electric lines, it refers to the area within two parallel lines formed by extending the outer edges of the conductors. In general areas, the extension distance of the outer edges of conductors of various voltage levels is as follows: 1–10 kilovolts – 5 meters; 35–110 kV 10 meters ; 154-330 kV 15 meters ; 500 kV 20 meters. In densely populated areas such as factories, mines, and towns, the area of the overhead power line protection zone can be slightly smaller than the values specified above. However, the extension distance of the voltage conductor edges at all levels shall not be less than the sum of the horizontal distance of the conductor edges after the maximum calculated sag and the maximum calculated wind deflection, and the safety distance from buildings after the wind deflection. (II) Power cable line protection zone: For underground cables, it is the area within two parallel lines formed by a distance of zero point ** meters on each side of the line ; Undersea cables generally cover the waters within two parallel lines formed by two nautical miles on each side of the cable route (100 meters on each side inside ports), while river cables generally cover an area of at least 100 meters on each side of the route (50 meters on each side for medium and small rivers). Article 15: Any unit or individual within the protection zone of overhead power lines must comply with the following regulations: (1) It is prohibited to stack grains, forage, garbage, slag, flammable materials, explosive substances, and other items that may affect the safe supply of electricity; (2) It is prohibited to burn kilns or clear land by burning it ; (III) No buildings or structures shall be constructed ;
So, does it mean that the boiler room in an ordinary factory can be located outside the protection area of high-voltage power lines?
