It’s an ordinary undergraduate program; I know that design firms these days require graduates from top universities, or even postgraduates, but I really want to work in design. I truly feel like I’ve learned so much, and it would be a waste if I went to a chemical plant. . . I participated in a chemical engineering design competition; it wasn’t organized by Mitsui, but the topics were the same. I took part in the provincial evaluation, but didn’t make it to the ** stage. The basic operations of Aspen Plus work fine (I learned it entirely on my own; the teachers at school didn’t know how to use it either; I found information and learned from forums). As for AutoCAD and software used for secondary development, our major can be considered among the best in this regard. I have done some simple 3D design and piping work; I haven’t used PDMS, but I have used a fake version of PDMax. I am also familiar with other ones such as ChemCAD, ChemOffice, SW-6, and KG-Towe. Strong ability to accept new software and learn quickly. I scored 474 on the CET-4 (passed it in my first year of university); I failed the CET-6, with my highest score on that exam being 419. Computer Level 2 (VB). In any case, as long as one doesn’t come from a non-prestigious undergraduate institution, all other requirements should be met by graduates working in design firms. My strengths in computer skills should be enough to compensate for my background; I can write programs using VB, and I’ve developed a textbook management system using an Access database. I’m also capable of handling computer maintenance and system installation. I won first prize in the university’s mathematics modeling competition. Although my grades aren’t as good as those of those who prepare for postgraduate exams, I feel that I’m strong in other aspects. I was wondering if any members here could recommend a job for me, or provide me with the contact details of someone in human resources. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a small or large design firm; I’m just a poor graduate from an ordinary university, so I’m not expecting too much! The location is preferably Jiangsu, Zhejiang, or Shanghai. Thank you all! My contact number: 18944630260! Or email: zhanggaolei@qq.com. If it needs to be created, please send me an email. Thank you all again!
Bro, which school are you from? Find companies in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai regions and post them to share
Bro, how’s it going now? I’m worried about this issue too! My situation is similar to yours, except that I don’t know how to use those software engineering tools. Impressive! Seeking communication!
How about Qingyuan in Guangdong? www.vitalchem.com---Pioneer Company
That’s too strong. I’m sure you’ll find a job that you like.
Bro, I feel the same way; I’m about to start working too, and I’m torn, haha
