There is a DB parameter in the PID block; its Chinese translation is \"dead zone\". What does it mean? I have it set to 0.0 here
It means that if the change in value is less than the threshold value, it is considered as no change; that’s simply what it means
So if this parameter is set to 2.0 in the PID, does that mean that the PID output will not change when the deviation between PV and SV is within 2.0?
What I understand is this: if this parameter is set to 2.0 in the PID, then when the deviation is within 2.0, the MV value remains unchanged. According to the official explanation, the blind zone mechanism: when the deviation falls within the width of the blind zone, the change in operational output (DMV) is set to 0 in order to stop any changes in MV.
