The new regulatory standards have different requirements regarding explosive media in the classification of pressure vessels compared to the old ones; as a result, some vessels that were previously classified as category II are now classified as category III. What should be done?
According to the new regulations, it should be Category III; so it’s Category III. What should we do?
Old ones follow the old capacity regulations, new ones follow the new ones!
Just follow the new regulations; items that used to be classified in category 3 are now all classified as category 2
Surely, in accordance with the requirements of the new safety regulations, devices whose categories have changed must meet those new regulations

Compliance with the new regulations is required; however, these new regulations do not apply to containers designed before their issuance. Containers that were designed and put into use earlier must be maintained, inspected, and serviced in accordance with the new rules.
Old containers can be managed according to the category specified in their drawings and quality certificates, without the need to change that category.
