Technical help: I would like to ask everyone, how are portable dissolved oxygen meters? Is the membrane method better, or is the fluorescence method better?

The membrane method is convenient and fast; the accessories that come with the equipment are sufficient for use for a year or two. No special maintenance is required – simply adjust it according to the operating instructions. It takes only about half a minute to read the values. I recommend the DO meter based on the membrane method.
What should I do if the boss refuses to buy a portable dissolved oxygen meter? I think the iodometry method is too troublesome. I was wondering if the iodometry method has a large margin of error. (I need to measure the dissolved oxygen level in the aeration tank; the COD is around 1000.) How much do portable dissolved oxygen meters cost, and is it convenient to maintain them? Does it break easily often? . . .
