The activated carbon after water treatment should absorb sulfur from gases； The activated carbon in PSA is used to remove impurities other than hydrogen, such as CO, CO2, etc.
First of all, thank you! Master, our nitrogen generation unit (air-based nitrogen generator) is equipped with an activated carbon filter. Does the activated carbon filter remove sulfur from the air? Is the sulfur content in the air high (it should be quite low, right)? What harm does sulfur cause to PSA adsorbents?
