Which standards are all used for designing pressure vessel drawings?

Let me give an example: some design firms use lowercase letters for pipe connection symbols, while others use circles surrounding the letters. Which of these is appropriate? Which standard should be followed?

According to HG 20668-2000, the regulations for preparing design documents for chemical equipment provide standards; in reality, however, our manufacturing units rarely follow these guidelines, as there is no need to do so. Design institutes generally adhere to these standards
We are all *accustomed; no N1～m needed at all
I usually* use lowercase letters to represent pipe openings, and uppercase letters for cross-sectional views.
