Today I read 2 consecutive posts about children: http://bbs.hcbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1084193&extra=page%3D1 on child education, and http://bbs.hcbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1084196&extra=page%3D1 on what good methods exist for dealing with children who eat slowly and are slow to complete tasks Children are the topic that parents care most about, and they are also often the source of our greatest headaches. We might not be able to spend as much time taking care of them due to family or work obligations; we might feel at a loss because of a lack of experience; we might fail to understand our children’s thoughts due to generational differences; or we might worry about choosing the right school for them. . . As someone who cares, I hope that all fellow parents can share their experiences so that we can all improve together and help our children grow up healthy and happy. Thank you all in advance! I will try to give extra points for thoughtful replies; I can only award a limited number of points per day, so I hope other users can help by giving additional points as well
Go and watch Yu Shiwai’s lectures on business management; he shares many examples of using his daughter as a subject for experiments. Listening to them might be inspiring, as there are many similarities between managing a company and raising children. So by watching these lectures, you can achieve two goals at once
If there’s anything good to share, let me know! Is there anything?
I read it during the boring time in the second semester of my senior year................ By then, my notebook had already given up the ghost, haha; there are plenty of versions available online
Come in and take a seat. If there’s one that can be shared, please share it~ I’m also having trouble with this right now. For now it’s okay; my daughter still listens to me. I’m just worried that once she gets older she might start being rebellious, and I don’t know what to do then. Sigh~~~
Children at a young age have their own troubles, while those who are older have their own set of problems. Please keep following this post, hehe
It’s necessary; of course I’ll pay attention~~~ Right now, this is the top priority for me.
I agree. I think when raising children, one shouldn’t adopt an attitude of \"I’m the parent, so I’m always right; you’re just a child, so you must do as I say and think as I do.\" If things don’t go as planned or the child doesn’t obey, it’s not right to resort to shouting, scolding, or force. If you hit or scold them too often, the child will become immune to it, thinking that it’s okay for parents to do so, and as a result they will listen even less to their parents. Over time, the child will become more and more rebellious, and in severe cases, it can affect their mental health. Of course, it’s beyond doubt that everything parents do is for the good of their children. In life, parents are always role models for their children, and their words and actions have a great influence on them. Therefore, I believe parents should put aside their roles as strict fathers or mothers and instead act as friends or peers to help change their children’s bad habits. They should use communication instead of shouting or scolding, and learn together with their children, growing together while serving as true role models for them. Most importantly, the relationship between parents and children must be extremely close – especially when the child has really made a mistake. . . . . Hehe. . . . Everyone understands)
When being friends with children, it’s still important to allow them to have their own little secrets; to understand what they really like; to give them a say in their own affairs; to respect their thoughts and opinions; and to discuss things together (this is my personal preference). . . Hehe) What needs to be noted is the issue of the generation gap – kids these days think in ways that aren’t conventional. Take me for example: since I was young, I’ve wanted my father not to speak in a commanding tone, as if he’s in a position of authority. Even if I agree verbally, I don’t really believe it inside. I also really hate it when he talks about his past or his grandfather’s past, especially during meals'''''''''''''''
Because that’s how we were taught as well, and we know these things. I don’t want to educate our children in this way either. But we don’t have any other experience (because all we know is from the older generation), and we don’t know how to educate them properly. That’s why I have a headache~~~
