How to adjust the converter

Colleagues, do you generally control the outlet or the inlet for newly installed converters, and what is the valve opening degree? What is the traffic per device? What are the advantages and disadvantages of controlling exports or controlling imports? Thank you all for your speeches!
There is control for the inlet valve; I’ve never heard of control for the outlet valve. The valve opening degree should be determined based on the catalyst usage time, reaction temperature, and the levels of acetylene and hydrogen chloride after the reaction. Controlling the inlet valve is the most direct and effective way to control the amount of air intake, being simple and practical. Personally, I think that if the outlet valve is controlled while the inlet valve is kept fully open, it may cause the vinyl chloride that has been produced to stay in the converter for too long, leading to side reactions.
We used to adjust it in the same way, but the management here requires it to be adjusted this way!
