That type of compressor is generally used for synthesis; does anyone have information on synthesis compressors?
It depends on what you’re synthesizing For methanol, centrifugal types are generally used; for ammonia synthesis, centrifugal types are predominant, though reciprocating types are also available
It depends on the pressure requirements and the compression medium
For syngas, if the downstream application is methanol, the outlet pressure is around 7.5 MPa; the main components are CO, CO2, H2, and N2
