It is common to install a ball valve or globe valve in front of the pressure gauge, but a globe valve has been installed in front of the waste heat boiler, along with a tee valve – I’m not sure why ?

Function of the three-way valve in front of the pressure gauge: First, the pressure gauge needs to be regularly calibrated, and it can be removed; therefore, a three-way valve is placed in front of it; Second, to prevent the inlet of the pressure gauge from getting clogged, a tee must be used for venting. Boiler system: high-temperature steam; a pressure gauge elbow needs to be added in front of the three-way valve. It seems that insulation is not available yet, and it is necessary to ensure that the fluid inside the pressure gauge is water. Sometimes when the temperature is too high, it seems appropriate to install a stop valve in front of the bend of the pressure gauge, and fill water between the stop valve and the tee to ensure that the medium is water.
A tee valve is placed in front of the pressure gauge; I think this is to allow for regular drainage and venting, so as to prevent the formation of dead zones and false pressures. . . . If you suspect that the pressure is abnormal, empty it for a while and then check the pressure reading again; this is a safe and reliable approach :victory::victory:
