What are the zero subtraction line and the constant four lines respectively?
I’ve heard of the constant fourth wire, but I’ve never heard of a zero-reduction wire
The ‘four side streams’ refer to the four side streams produced by an atmospheric tower; the ‘reduction stream’ might be the top oil or the first-stage oil – it’s just a name given to it, and the name itself isn’t important.
Our company also has a regular fourth line, but it has not been used since the pressure relief system was installed to ensure its proper operation. I understand that Chang Si Xian oil is similar to Grade 1 and Grade 2 oils. I’ve never heard of the zero subtraction line before; could someone please explain it?
The fourth side stream is the fourth side stream of the atmospheric tower, counted from the top of the tower downward; the ‘minus zero stream’ could be either the first minus stream or the top reflux – it’s just called differently
