I’ve experienced this before; back then, there was a serious issue with water in the fuel gas. A distillation furnace – nothing else seems likely; it’s unlikely that the fuel oil contains water.
I guess it’s because of the low temperatures in winter; water vapor is produced when fuel burns
In our distillation furnace, steam superheating occurs in the convection chamber; pipe rupture might also cause white smoke to appear
The hydrogen sulfide content in the fuel gas is above the limit! ! Desulfurize properly
It’s too cold, and the water vapor in the smoke condenses.
The fuel gas contains a high amount of hydrogen, and water is produced upon combustion. In winter, when temperatures are low, the flue gases condense, resulting in white smoke; it is also possible that the fuel gas contains water.
I heard for the first time that our stove burns dry fuel; occasionally it uses liquefied gas as well, but I don’t think that problem occurs with it.

In winter, the low temperatures cause fuel gas to contain water; I have encountered this before.
