Regarding the feed pipe issue of the finished product distribution tank

For the feed pipes of the finished product storage tanks, we previously designed them to extend 200 mm below the bottom of the tank. However, for this new design, we plan to have the feed pipes extend only 300 mm from the top of the tank. Is such a design reasonable? Are there any specific design requirements?
There should be no problem. Some feed pipes need to be inserted deep into the tank, taking into account the properties of the material in order to prevent splashing during feeding, while others only need to go a certain depth into the tank.
