If the orifice plate changes by 1 millimeter, by how much does the temperature change approximately?

We have 5.5-meter-high ramming coke ovens; previously, the temperature in one of the side furnaces was about 20°C lower. After replacing the orifice plate from size 32 to size 34, the temperature increased by roughly 40°C. Does a 1-millimeter change in the orifice plate result in a temperature change of around 20 to 30°C? How is it where you are?
Why not use supplementary heating?
