When a heating furnace is undergoing drying operations, what is the optimal timing to introduce steam for protecting the furnace tubes? (Furnace temperature)
For larger units, it’s likely difficult to utilize steam in winter when the furnace is not turned on for heating
I remember that last year, the furnace was often modified by replacing its insulation material. First, steam was introduced into the furnace tubes, and the temperature inside the furnace was maintained at 100–120 degrees for a day. A low heat level was also used to dry out the furnace, with steam continuing to flow through the tubes; this drying process lasted about three days
