30 and still unmarried, at 30 I don’t have a career of my own, at 30 I don’t have any money either, at 30, I… . . . I have nothing; I don’t know when I’ll have a home, a career, or money.............
Being 30 and having achieved maturity no longer means what it did in ancient times; it means having one’s own firm ideals and beliefs, as well as one’s own pursuits and goals. It is only then that true spiritual maturity is attained. Many things cannot be acquired just by working for a couple of years. Don’t worry, original poster – although literally speaking you haven’t reached maturity at 30, you will surely be free from confusion by 40, and understand the will of heaven by 50
Don’t worry, there will be bread and milk.
Don’t rush; as long as you do your current work diligently, it will come. I’ve been through this before, and that’s how I teach my students too.
