Questions regarding issues with Roots blowers

The Roots blower we use has been showing high cylinder temperature on the control panel recently, but the actual temperature at the site does not match the value shown on the control panel. After the instrument technician handled it on site, the temperature gauge indicated that there was no problem. What could be the reason? Note: The oil in the cylinder is circulated to the oil tank via a circulating water heat exchanger, and then pumped into the cylinder by an oil pump. The cylinder temperature is high right now
If the actual temperature is not higher than what the gauge shows, then it’s a problem with the gauge…
