Currently, rhodium catalysts are used in carbonylation to produce acetic acid and acetic anhydride. Dinocanol also uses a rhodium catalyst. Since lactams are processed using palladium catalysts, which coal chemical projects then make use of catalysts containing precious metals such as platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, etc.?

From my daily experience, it is widely used in the production of hydrogen peroxide, the purification of terephthalic acid, the hydrodeacetylation of crude ethylene and crude propylene, the first stage of pyrolytic gasoline processing, vehicle exhaust purification, and the oxidation of ammonia to nitric acid.
