On site, I observed that during the operation of the desulfurization system, the volume of the circulating liquid was increasing; now, 20 cubic meters of this liquid must be discharged daily. I have checked for any leaks in the equipment, and all such issues have been resolved. It has been checked whether mist entrainment is occurring in the pre-cooling tower; it is possible that the ammonia vapor from ammonia evaporation is responsible for this issue. However, this phenomenon does not show such a significant increase during summer operations. Previously, it was thought that when the amount of by-products resulting from desulfurization reached a certain level, fixed emissions would occur along with the addition of fresh water. But now there is a continuous increase in these emissions, which forces us to reconsider our emission strategies. I would appreciate it if experts could suggest other possible causes for this issue
