Does anyone knowledgeable know how to conduct a leak test on oxygen pipelines?
There are no special requirements; the pipes must be free of grease
Stress the pipeline to see if the pressure can be maintained, and then use soapy water to check for leaks, especially at the flange connections. If no leaks are found, increase the pressure; after that, check again for leaks. Gradually raise the pressure until it reaches the design pressure for your oxygen pipeline. This must not be overlooked, as oxygen leaks are a serious issue.
