What is the difference between CG and TG for the Rosemount transmitter model 3051? Which one is good?
It would be better to ask Rosemount about this. As far as I know, this refers to a certain type or model; we use the CD series, which belongs to the micro-differential pressure series and offers high precision
There is no comparability between these two; CD represents differential pressure while TG represents gauge pressure. Their performance is the same, only the installation method differs

I’ve never seen CG; it’s used for differential pressure detection, while TG is used for normal pressure detection. For an even better option, consider the 3051S series. 3
Simply put, CG has a low range, while TG has a high range.
CG flange installation, TG vertical installation; CG is expensive, TG is cheap
