Ladies and gentlemen, regarding different low-pressure methanol catalysts, there are those from abroad such as the 51 series from Johnson Matthey (formerly ICI), Southern Chemical, and Topsoe； In China, there are series such as the South Chemical Research Institute and the Southwest Research Institute. Please discuss the content of by-products in crude methanol from different manufacturers (catalyst models), such as ethanol, paraffins, polyalcohols (C>2), dimethyl ether, methyl formate, and similar substances.
We use ICI; it performs well in all aspects, produces few by-products, and there is almost no fluctuation in distillation
By-products cannot be considered solely in terms of the catalyst; operating temperature and pressure, as well as whether the catalyst has been thoroughly purged after being installed, also play a role.
