What standards are used in the design of loading and unloading areas?

Dear teachers, I am currently working on a project that involves designing a shared loading and unloading area for two different organizations. This area is meant to handle general goods, gasoline and diesel, as well as small quantities of liquids classified as Category A and B. When planning the layout, I’m not sure which set of regulations should be applied – there are significant differences between the regulations for oil depots and those for petrochemical facilities. Applying the petrochemical regulations seems too strict, while using the oil depot regulations isn’t appropriate either, as this isn’t an oil depot loading and unloading area, nor is it located alongside the two organizations that will use it; it’s an independent facility. Therefore, I have some doubts and would appreciate your guidance. Thank you!
If there is enough space, stick to the stricter standards; if space is limited, use the more relaxed ones. Choose the appropriate standards based on your own needs. Or find someone who is familiar with coding standards and see what they think: lol

It mainly depends on the nature of the loading and unloading facility being constructed; the standard that fits it best will be used.
