Discussion on brown corundum castables

Our factory uses brown corundum casting materials when building furnaces; during the construction process, an aluminum phosphate solution as well as some powdered ingredients are also added. I don’t know why an aluminum phosphate solution is used? I see that other castables use water.
An aluminum phosphate solution is added as a binder; the castable with water already contains a binder.
