During normal operation, the outer wall temperature of a Texaco gasifier should be about 50°C higher than the dew point temperature. So, by how much should we set the design temperature to be higher? The design temperature of the outer wall has little to do with the pressure inside the gasification furnace. For example, if the design temperature for the outer wall of a gasification furnace at 6.5 MPa is around 400°C, then the design temperature at 3.8 MPa can be around 300°C. Is this statement correct? Does anyone know the specific external wall design temperature for 3.8 MPa?
The normal wall temperature is between 250–280°; at around 400°, the strength of the steel decreases, increasing the risk of accidents. Therefore, the temperature should be kept lower – safety is of utmost importance in gasification furnaces. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The design temperature of the combustion chamber in our company’s gasification furnace is 455 degrees Celsius, with a pressure of 7.15 MPaG.
It’s okay, right! The wall temperatures of the gasification furnaces at 4.0 Mpa and 6.5 Mpa are roughly the same, right? It’s usually around 220–280! If it reaches 300, one should pay attention; once it reaches 350, it’s time to consider stopping! ! ! !
What was said on the 2nd floor is correct: a temperature above 280 degrees is abnormal, above 300 degrees requires increased monitoring, and at 380 degrees an emergency shutdown should be initiated. If it exceeds 400 degrees, the strength of the furnace wall metal decreases, posing a risk of bulging and explosion.
