Material issue of the outer ring of metal wound gaskets: can 304 replace 0Cr13?

I have a client who now has another order for metal wound gaskets, using the SH3407-96 standard and size D1222. The material for the outer ring should be 0Cr13. However, 0Cr13 sheets are not used very often these days. I would like to ask the experts here: should it be fine for me to use 304 in place of 0Cr13?
Under normal circumstances, replacing a lower level with a higher one should not pose any problems; it is advisable to communicate with the user carefully.
The owner is still happy to do it without any extra cost
