PHOENIX1 initiated a topic to talk about the comparison and use of domestic DCS. I hope everyone will also talk about the experience of using foreign DCS and compare the performance differences between foreign DCS and domestic DCS.
Yokogawa's CS3000 is good, stable and easy to configure, although the interface is in English. ABB is unstable. Although the control concept is relatively advanced, the failure rate is high!
Regarding DCS, there is no difference in basic functions between Yokogawa's Honeywall, Foxbora's and Emerson's. However, the old version of Foxbora's DCS uses a Unix system with good anti-virus and limited versatility. Compared with domestic DCS, the biggest advantage lies in in-depth development, that is, more powerful re-application functions. Domestic DCS is not weaker than foreign DCS in basic functions, but it is cheap and has good service attitude. How to choose depends on the specific situation of each factory.
