Now I wonder if ASPEN can perform dynamic simulation? If there are any experts or friends who know about this, we hope you will kindly share your insights

Aspen can only perform static simulations; I think it can be used as an absorption tower for testing purposes.
Aspen Plus can only perform static simulations, but Aspen has its own tool for dynamic simulations, Aspen Dynamic. If you install the Aspen Engineering Suite, you can also install this tool, and then you’ll be able to carry out dynamic simulations. I haven’t done any dynamic simulations before, so I’m not familiar with them. If you know more about this, please get in touch with me; we can learn together. I’m really interested in learning more about this area. For adsorption processes, reactors can be used. I think that parameters such as reaction coefficients can be set to constants or 0, but I’m not sure about that. I really want to know how to conduct such simulations. If you’re simulating air separation processes, I personally don’t think it’s necessary to use molecular sieves for simulation; to do that, you’d need to include many other components, such as carbon dioxide and water. Of course, I won’t comment on other types of simulations. I hope this helps you :)
The Aspen Adsim module can be used to simulate pressure swing adsorption; it is specifically designed for simulating adsorption-based separation processes, including gas adsorption, liquid adsorption, ion exchange, and more, offering powerful functionality. But it’s not easy to learn*. If there are experts, feel free to exchange ideas
Variable pressure adsorption can be simulated using the Aspen Adsim module :)
